Open for Everyone: Weekly Kung Fu, Tai Chi & Chi Kung training sessions
Kung Fu: Thursdays 6:20 PM, Saturdays 10:00 AM
We're currently running 30-minute Zoom training sessions Thursdays & Saturdays! This is a great way to loosen up and have some fun! Here we spotlight different skills of the week that link up with online videos in our paid Members-Only Learning Centre, found right here on our website, as well as our Free YouTube Chung Wah Kung Fu Regina Training Area Channel. This is suitable for adults, youth and kids ages 8 & up.
Tai Chi: Thursdays 7:00 PM
Instructors lead you through simple, easy to follow Tai Chi forms and exercises that includes some health Chi Kung material. Gentle and easy, this is a nice way to chill out and recharge your energy! This is especially for adults. Read more on Tai Chi benefits here.
Chi Kung: Saturdays 9:25 AM
Instructors lead you through simple, easy to follow gentle breathing and movement exercises to stretch and align your body, benefit your circulation and energy and more! Especially for adults, this is a nice way to chill out and recharge! The program will focus on developing a variety of skills, exercises and routines specific to health & vitality enhancement. Who Can Join? All are welcome! If you're not a student of our school or have been inactive for a long time, you'll need to get in touch with us so we can set up your Zoom attendance permissions.
How to Join: Connect with us to set up your permissions! We'll give you the Zoom link and add your name to the roster. Payment is by etransfer. You can pay per session or for a group of sessions at a time.
Zoom Training Refund Policies: There are no refunds once a session has started. If you've paid for a session but did not login, you'll have a credit for a future training session. If you've paid for several sessions but change your mind and want a refund, you need to contact us by phone or email. We'll refund your unused portions, or you can transfer the credits to a friend.
Sessions start on time. We suggest you arrive to the waiting area around 15 min prior and do a little warm-up so you're ready to go when session starts. There is usually time at the end of session to ask some questions or say hello!
Zoom Tips: join with your mic off (muted). If you forget, we'll turn it off for you. This way everyone can focus on the information from the instructor. If you don't turn on your camera, we can't actually see you, so turn your camera on if you wish. This way, we can see what you're doing and can give you feedback while you train!

Members-Only Learning Centre
This brand new feature up and running!
We're starting with current-topic training materials and each month we'll be uploading a new batch of featured content! Other things down the line may include some academic subjects: history, philosophy, medicine, cultural arts & traditions. These decisions will be based on feedback & other factors.
Subscription: $30/month. You can pay per month or for several months at once.
Billing Cycle: The date of membership activation is the starting point. Each billing cycle will go one calendar month from the activation date. E.g. You became a member on July 7th, your subscription month will conclude August 7.
Autoextension: Your subscription will be automatically extended until your tuition credit or etransfer payment credits have run out, or until you let us know by phone or email that you want to stop your subscription. If you pay month to month, this does not apply to you.
Refund Policies: There are no refunds once a billing cycle has started. If you've paid for more than one month at a time, you'll receive a refund for all billing periods that have not yet begun.
How to Join: Click on the members login button at the top of the page. Set up your account. You'll receive an email prompting you to send an etransfer payment. Once we receive your payment your membership will be activated within 48 hours!
Bear in mind we're not a big organization, but a family operation of volunteers. It takes a lot of time to make all these videos for you and this is only one part of our responsibilities in life. We do what we can with the time and skills we have! If you have something positive or constructive to share, or a topic suggestion that might be relevant, we'd love to hear from you!
Music in the Morning Wellness Program
Back by popular demand, Music in the Morning Wellness Program, created by Tim Mrazek & Helen Chang, is a program designed for seniors that combines gentle exercise, breathing and wellness training, along with joyful sing-along music segments.
This program is free of charge and sponsored by SaskLotteries and the City of Regina! During Covid19 restrictions, all training will be done virtually. Weekly live Zoom sessions are held every Monday at 4:00PM. If you'd like to participate, send us an email to receive the link!
We also offer a MIM Wellness Program YouTube channel that features fun videos with lyrics to sing along with.
Music in the Morning combines easy breathing, gentle Tai Chi and wellness exercises that are great for improving your energy and building your health! We'll also work our lungs and voices, singing well-loved songs from childhood, classic oldies, campfire and popular folk tunes!
Breath bridges mind-body-spirit connection. We use gentle exercises to strengthening the body, increase balance, coordination and strength. We also use our singing voices through some really simple vocal warm-ups some breathing exercises that use sounds, as well as good old-fashioned singing!
Singing is a joy that brings great emotional benefit--something particularly useful during these times! It doesn't matter who you are, come as you are. We're all works in progress, so relax, smile and enjoy!
Besides, no one hears you on the Zoom sessions! Participants sing in their own home along with the singing and musical sounds provided by the musical hosts! It's about as much fun as you can have without the campfire!
