Service Description

Tuesdays 5PM, starting Feb. 27 for five weeks. For adults, all levels with at least six months training experience. Note: This is a course that permits drop-in attendance. Required: uniform top and student-supplied comfortable (black, recommended) pants and clean, indoor-only runners. This series ties in with our Kung Fu Foundation Training Program. This class is recommended if you wish to deepen your understanding and ability in traditional Chinese martial arts. These sessions will be hands-on, taught by Sifu Mrazek. Three levels of details will be provided: basic, intermediate and advanced--to be directly applicable to all learning levels. Special care will be given to guide each student precisely where they need to focus in order to take themselves to the next level toward mastery of these essential skills. Each session will focus on different topics: week 1, Feb 26 and 27: Basic Kung Fu theory, etiquette, and mindset part II; Kung Fu breathing Skills; how to develop your kicking skills; chamber exercises for hip and leg. week 2, Mar 4 and 5: Kicking-focused flexibility training; front kick; roundhouse kick. week 3, Mar 11 and 12: Side kick; back kick. week 4, Mar 18 and 19: Push kick; front position vs rear position fighting kicks. week 5, Mar 25 and 26: Exploring kicking combos: first five kicks.
