Kung Flex: Hips and Legs Drop-In

All levels of experience, ages 10 and up. Tuesdays at 6PM. Drop-Ins welcome. This course runs February 27 through April 9, 2024 for 7 sessions. In this course, you will be gently guided to improve your breathing, release tensions in your body and stretch properly to increase body flexibility. Covered in this course: Basic theory and key stretching concepts will be covered with a focus on the sometimes difficult areas of hips and legs. Why stretching and flexibility are important How does it fit into training programs or as part of one's daily practice How to develop a stretching routine Safety considerations Stretching techniques: dynamic vs static Focused exercises for hips, legs and lower back. Partner stretching - subject to participants comfort with personal spaces and contact. There will be at-home training assignments given.
