Saturdays at 10AM, concurrent with Kids Kung Fu, separate training hall. Adults: beginners and welcome to all levels.  This program runs September 7 through December 21, 2024. There is no session October 12. Moms, Dads & adult family members, let's have some fun while the kids having their own fun! This is a super intro course to encourage the adults to experience Kung Fu for themselves! Also offered under the name of Total Kung Fu, Level 1 on different days. Course material focuses on level 1 foundation training--essential skills for everyone to master! Pacing is aimed at beginner learners, however advanced practitioners will be guided according to their abilities. We know how hard parents work and all they do for their kids but it's also important to take some time just for you! We've created a class just for parents to train in their own space during our Kid's Kung Fu timeslot. This is going to be a lot of fun, and just the right amount of challenge for everyone! Each learner will be guided according to their needs as we explore the amazing experience of learning Kung Fu for strength, self-empowerment and wellbeing. ​Required: uniform top and student-supplied comfortable (black, recommended) pants and clean, indoor-only runners.  ​Course Content: Basic Kung Fu theory, etiquette, counting Basic breathing skills Warmup & joint strengthening Reflex & coordination training Health Chi Kung methods Martial breathing methods Leg, hip and back flexibility training Kicking and leg skills Blocking and defensive skills 5-Wheel Waist Power training Punching training 5-Element stance training 5-Element Circular Orbit training Introduction to Forms (Empty Hand Patterns)
